Local produce and Farm Stands

There is no better place to get fresh produce right out of the fields than right here in Lancaster County.  Within just a few miles of the Walnut Lawn you can get just about anything you need.  When you arrive at the inn, ask Beth where to go for the best of the seasons offerings. Smuckers Farm Stand, Big Pine Farms, and Lapps Farm are road-side stands within a stones throw of the inn.  Cherry Hill Orchard is a pick your own orchard and greenhouse that also offers fresh baked pies.  The Corn Wagon is just that:  a wagon of fresh sweet corn is wheeled in each day.  Of course the seasons change and spring berries lead into summer harvests, then fall pumkins, then winter kales and brussel sprouts.  Indoor farmers markets have you covered once the road-side stands close up for the season.  You will not go hungry when Lancaster provides you with such wonderful bounty!
