The end of February also marks the beginning of the “Mud Sales” season. These traditional weekend auctions that are supported by the Amish Communities bring to each Fire Company that sponsors a “Mud Sale” much needed revenue to continue to bring their vital services to the community. These dates and places for these “Mud Sales” can be found at PDCVB.
The second month of 2014 brings our initial attempt at video taping the inside of our Bed and Breakfast. We have two videos, one of the Common Rooms and one of our 5 Guest Rooms. It would be nice to pay some professional videographer to tape our rooms but we would have to come up with the script that would highlight each rooms uniqueness. So you can think of this practice videos and a way for us to begin to write a flattering yet honest description of our Bed and Breakfast.
We look forward to this years’ Sight and Sound presentation of the Story of Moses. Each year the folks at the Sight and Sound Theater surprise thousands with their stage presentation from one of the books from the Bible. We are about a 10 minute drive from the Sight and Sound Theater and welcome visitors and guests who would like to stay over one or more nights here in Lancaster county, PA.. Our rates are modest in keeping with our belief that everyone can experience the uniqueness of staying at a Bed and Breakfast.
