When guests think about Lancaster County, they immediately conjure up thoughts of Amish buggies, rolling farmland and honest people. A surprising number now think about the Bed and Breakfasts that populate the landscape of the County. We have unique and friendly B and B’s that welcome guests and are always ready to give information about the Amish, places to visit, shop and enjoy quality theaters.
Christmas time for our Bed and Breakfasts is special. Trees, lights and warmth permeate the air as you drive into the parking area and wander up to the welcoming home. The Walnut Lawn Bed and Breakfast is one of these gems that you will enjoy on your visit to Lancaster County.
In addition to the experience of staying at a Bed and Breakfast, Christmas time in Lancaster County is full of marvelous sights and sounds. There are Christmas Plays at the Sight and Sound Theater and the American Music Theater. There are Broadway quality plays at the Rainbow Dinner Theater, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater and the Fulton Opera House. Shopping is no problems with two Outlets (Tanger and Rockvale) and hundreds of small unique businesses. Downtown has one of most lively restaurant and craft/art venues of any small city. Of course if your interested in the History and life of Lancaster County, places like Landis Valley Museum, Herr’s House and the Amish Tours can satisfy everyone’s curiosity.
From Sarah and I, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and healthy and Happy New Year and hope to see you soon.
