Getting a new porch rail

It’s been 6 months since we signed with a contractor to repair our front porch railing and it’s finally getting started. When we moved into this grand B&B in 2005, we had to have the porch renewed with paint and a new railing on one side of the porch. Since then, it has held up very well. Now it has shown it’s age and in the next couple of weeks, you will find a spanking new life to our grand wrap-around porch.

It’s soon that our guests will sit in the chairs, glider and rockers and enjoy each other’s company and watch the life of Lancaster County ride by in cars and buggies.

If getting away for a few days is in your plans or dreams, consider some time these coming weeks when our cherry trees will be in full blossom and then raining down like soft snow. Our garden flowers are starting to bloom and the bare trees will be starting to grow out of the lazy brown to a vibrant green. Nature’s way of giving us hope and pleasure.
